Cristal Global – Induction +11 Months: Challenging Project
This month LD are running a Graduate Development Programme for Cristal Global. Our programme design team were asked to design an Induction +11 months programme that would bring together the ‘understanding the business’ pieces as well as all the skills and tools they have been exposed to up until now in the Graduate Programme. A second requirement was remote delivery: a programme that does not require the Graduates to all be in one place, i.e. delivered remotely/on-line as the Grads are based in the US, UK and France.
Plus a programme that gives them a real project that would require them to use all of that they have learnt about project management through our project management simulation to deliver an end product.
We have developed a programme that requires each team of Grads to design the contents of a simulation based on the Cristal business model which will then be used for on-boarding new employees. Grads will work in Action Learning sets (teams). It will be a competitive challenge incorporating Six Sigma training and a review of what they have learnt about Cristal in the last 11 months.
